GECU representative talks to 3rd grade students about Job skills.

On Friday, August 23rd, GECU visited Sageland MicroSociety Elementary third grade students during their Micro time at the Gymnasium for a special presentation.

The GECU Representative talked to our Scottie third graders about the skills necessary to work at a Credit Union. Her presentation had a focus on the importance of Math and personal skills, such as professionalism and politeness.

Mrs. Chavez, our School Wide Project Coordinator, talked to students about the significance of understanding the skill set required to apply for a job. Next week, students will be preparing to create and review their resumes as the job fair is coming soon.
