Sageland Elementary's Career Day was a huge success! Presenters from all over El Paso, Texas came to introduce their career to our Scotties. We had photographers, non-profits, electricians, nurses, police officers, fire fighters and many more!
On Friday morning, presenters enjoyed coffee and pan dulce while being recognized by our leadership team. Then, they went to different classrooms to meet with students and share all about their careers. Scotties also had the opportunity to hear from two government officials, Senator Blanco, in the morning announcements, and Mayor Oscar Lesser, who talked to our 5th graders. There was also a very special moment where our Scottieland Mayor, Ethan, meet Mayor Oscar Lesser!
A big thank you to all Career Day presenters that helped our Scotties learn all about their options for the future, and to Mrs. Lopez, our counselor, for making this event possible!
